Otmar Szafnauer (born August 13, 1964) is a Romanian-American engineer and Formula%20One team manager.
Career: He has held significant leadership positions in several Formula%20One teams. He began his F1 career with British%20American%20Racing (BAR) as Operations Director.
Force India/Racing Point: He is best known for his long tenure with the Force%20India team, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and later as Team Principal. He continued in the same role after the team was rebranded as Racing%20Point.
Aston Martin: Following Lawrence Stroll's acquisition of Racing%20Point, Szafnauer became Team Principal of Aston%20Martin. He left the team in January 2022.
Alpine: He joined Alpine as Team Principal in February 2022, however, he departed the team in July 2023.
